Bad Word

Privacy Policy

Effective 22 July 2026 · Bad Word (the “Game”)

The short version. Bad Word has no accounts and never asks for your name, email, or contacts. We collect pseudonymous usage analytics (which modes you play, scores, whether you finished the tutorial) to make the game better, using Google Analytics. There are no ads and nothing to buy inside the game. We don’t sell your data. The rest of this page is the detail.

Who we are

Bad Word is made by [Foundry Six — legal entity + address] (“we”, “us”). Questions about this policy or your data: wordgymgames@gmail.com.

What we collect

We do not require an account and do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise (GPS) location.

We do collect, automatically and pseudonymously:

Multiplayer connections

When you play with a friend, the Game uses a real-time (WebRTC) connection. To introduce your device to your friend’s, a “signaling” server relays the technical connection details, and the two devices exchange network addresses (IP addresses) directly with each other — this is how any peer-to-peer connection works. Room codes are temporary and expire. We do not store the content of your matches.

How we use this information

Third-party services

We rely on these providers, each with its own privacy policy:

Advertising

Bad Word shows no ads. It is a one-off paid purchase with no in-app purchases, no advertising SDK and no advertising identifier. Nothing in the game profiles you for marketing.

Children’s privacy

The Game is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention

Analytics event data is retained in Google Analytics for up to [14 months] and then deleted or aggregated. The random install identifier lives on your device until you reinstall or clear the app’s data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, and to opt out of certain processing. Because our analytics are pseudonymous and not tied to your identity, we may ask you for the random install identifier to locate your data. We do not sell your personal information. To make a request, email wordgymgames@gmail.com.

International transfers

Our providers (including Google) may process data on servers in the United States and other countries. Where required, they rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect the limited data we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we minimize what we collect so there is little to expose.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Game evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
